The New Testament records unexpected, unlikely physical events forming bookends of the earthly life of Jesus. If these were actual historical events, would there be evidence? Can we identify such evidence 2,000 years later? That’s the fundamental question and endeavor behind two film projects by Mite Productions. The first resulted in the “The Star of Bethlehem,” a roaring success. For the second, instead of looking up to the heavens, we’re looking down at the earth. The Christ Quake is a geophysical investigation into the evidence around the earthquake that split the temple veil in Jerusalem at the time of the crucifixion.
